Partners

The project has seven partners. These come from Germany, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Ireland, Finland and Portugal.

IG METALL

IG Metall (German: Industriegewerkschaft Metall, “Industrial Union of Metalworkers’”) is the dominant metalworkers’ union in Germany, making it the country’s largest union with 2.4 million members as well as Europe’s largest industrial union. Analysts of German labor relations consider it a major trend-setter in national bargaining.

IFES

Known in English as The Institute of Training and Social Studies is a foundation of the General Union of workers whose aim is focused on vocational training for employment and offering solutions to the multiple training needs of companies and workers.

In order to carry out its activities, IFES has offices in most of the autonomous communities and collaborates with the Public Employment Service, the Tripartite Foundation for Training in Employment, as well as with all the Autonomous Administrations and numerous town halls, councils and Business.

Since its founding and to date, IFES has taught more than 110,000 courses and has had the confidence of 1,600,000 students.

BFW

BFW employees are specialists in the regional employment and training market as well as in the current education areas. They know the respective challenges and support you individually and passively. Together, we create the basis for your further development in the company or for the successful search for a suitable job.

The facts speak for themselves:

  • Every year nationwide they train more than 45,000 participants
  • They have training centers at more than 200 locations throughout Germany
  • They have been delivering education for more than 60 years
  • They provide a comprehensive range of basic vocational training as well as advanced and advanced training with recognized degrees

SALPAUS

Salpaus Further Education is a regional college in Finland providing vocational education and training, staff development services and general upper-secondary education in the Lahti region. They also arrange courses for immigrants.

The objectives are to:

  • strengthen relations and increase interaction with working life
    anticipate training needs
  • organise preparatory training for curriculum based and competence-based qualifications
  • recognise individual needs and draw up individual study plans
    contribute to the advancement of regional working life skills

In 2015

Salpaus had 79 million euros for operating revenues
5 260 students in initial vocational education
12 000 students in vocational adult education
1 360 apprenticeship students
160 general upper-secondary students
40 vocational qualifications and almost 110 further and specialist qualifications
matriculation examination
They have almost 900 skilled staff of whom some 520 are teachers.

Vocational adult education and working life services account for approximately one third of our annual revenues.

DIE BERATER

Die Berater is  Austria’s leading training and development consultancy.

They are a leading consultancy focusing on training and development. They provide an extensive range of corporate consultancy, coach managers and staff, and specialise in soft skills, language and IT training.

Their services are aimed at private individuals, national and international companies and organisations in all sectors and of any size, and the public sector, for example the Public Employment Service Austria, ministries, the European Commission and the entire education system. We also work with international partners on cross-border educational projects.

They operate the “European Computer Driving Licence for Children and Young People with Cancer”

Noreside Resource Centre

Noreside Resource Centre was set up in 1987 as a direct response to a need for an information source, independent of government departments, the Noreside Resource Centre sources and provides information on any subject, although work is focused on Labour and Family Law matters, Tribunals and Appeals.

The Centre is staffed by 2 full time staff and 15 part time workers on a Community Employment Scheme, and the services provided have expanded to include a wide range of educational courses most at level 5 and level 6 on the Irish Qualifications Framework. These include the Certificate in  Training and Development Course at Level 6

They run numerous QQI Accredited Courses suited to beginners right up to experienced users, we also provide courses in both ECDL standard and advanced, as well as 1-to-1 tuition at whatever level the individual may be and in whatever subject/level they would like to achieve.

As a result of the numerous enquiries they have received, in regards to a lack of places where public internet access is available, they provide an “internet café” as a service to the people in Kilkenny. A reduced rate is offered to people receiving Social Welfare payments.

CORVINUS

Corvinus University of Budapest is a university in Budapest, Hungary. The University defines itself as a research university oriented towards education. The university admits 14,000 students, offering educational programmes in business administration, economics, and social sciences.

Corvinus University accepts students at six faculties and offer courses leading to degrees at the bachelor, master and doctoral level in specialisations taught in Hungarian, English, French or German.

The academic rankings of the university’s prestige, professional and social acceptability are measured regularly. Year by year, the university is among the best institutions on various national and international rankings. It was listed in the top 50 in the Financial Times European Masters in Management rankings,and was the first Hungarian university mentioned among the best in the area of agriculture.

ISQ

ISQ provide solutions for clients in all sectors, to ensure that their assets and products comply with environmental, quality, health and safety standards and regulations.

Founded in 1965, ISQ is a private and independent company providing inspection, testing, training and technical consultancy.

They employ 1400 employees world wide and since 1994 have trained 180,000 trainees. They offer 16,600 Vocatioonal Training Courses

The ISQ Group’s turnover, excluding the work carried out for companies within the group, amounted to EUR 83 million.
